Default What's in the box ???

Today David asked me to pick up a box from our business address. I asked him what he bought from Summit and he told me that it was front end parts for the Astro Van. I questioned it, but it was no big deal. When we got home I proceeded to make lunch and he opened the box and told me to turn around.

This is what was in the box......

A PAIR OF DYNOMAX VT's

Then there was more....

David said that this was my belated Birthday present. I am thrilled !! Some women want diamonds...I want car parts. I wasn't expecting this, but I am so excited to hear them on my car, as soon as the snow is gone and I get it out of storage. If you are curious what they sound like, here is a link to a site to hear them. I still can't believe he did this for me.

VT, those are the mufflers with the valve in them. I got to sit on a panel and get a look at the prototype. I gave my opinion and expressed some of my wants and needs in a muffler. (It paid a crisp $100 bill too, for my time)

I have yet to try them out. Cannot wait to see your feedback.

That is so cool that you got to put your input in on these. I am hopeing to have my car out of storage before May. It all depends on the weather around here. I will definately post feedback and maybe a video so you can hear how they sound. David and I had discussed getting a muffler with less drone. Now with these, it is my understanding that when you are driving around town they are quieter but when you get on it, it will give you some growl, which is exactly what I want.

I hope to do the same once I get the Pypes race pros on my car. They are supposed to be mellow at idle and cruise, then open up @ WOT.

I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have the box sitting in my kitchen because I just want to get them on my car. The kids keep asking if it is something else for the kitchen in the box. I said yep, and it will stay on the footstool til I decide to take the box out of the kitchen.
