Waiting to go get the wife from work. I packed the truck with tools for a day of fun at mom's. Had a little time and messed with the door.
WOW spraying the inside with black paint was the ticket. I kid you not. I lined the paint marks up and the circle I made for the striker. I never had this happen in my life. I shut the door after getting it bolted on. Perfect. I am floored that was blind luck there.

Masked the whole car for a 3 inch X 3 foot area in the back window that is part of the interior. News at 10.

Well I got er painted the window track. Buffed the glass. Took the trunk lid off and sanded on it the rest of the day. The rule 2B violation earlier. Pics or it didn't happen. Next I got the window to put in. And some bondo work on inside of the trunk lid on the pesky stamping issues again.

Inside of the trunk lid is done. Ready for primer. Joke of the day. Entire car masked for the trunk arms to get primered. What do I think I own stock in 3M now.

I got another box of it. I keep it on a spool on the ceiling. It last forever. I painted my van, dads firechicken, my brother used some. I did rust repair on my durango. A few odds and ends dent repair for freinds. Then I been using it the whole time on the chevelle when I do things to it. And as you can see I am not stingy with it. If you have something to mask it is the best deal. 30 bucks a roll and this has lasted years. Alot easier to work with than paper. It has a static cling when it is unrolled. Put it in place and use a knife to trim it where you mask carefully prior. Then just tape it down.

I actually plan to make a paint booth when it is time out of it. Kick the van out of the main bay since it got all the lights. Scrub everything and hang it around blocking out the main portion of the garage.
It is good easy to work with stuff. I highly recommend it.
