Default 4 speed swap

The 66 chevelle I am buying has a 4 speed TS 10 in it, I want to swap it out for either a 5 or 6 speed Tremec, the car has approx 800 hp,
can any one give any advise on which one would be the easier or better option,
does the 6 speed have a taller overdrive than the 5?
will the 5 take more abuse etc?
any help advise would be greatly appriciated or input if some one has done the conversion already,
also where a good shop to buy a kit from

Tanks

Sean

Sean,

I'm in the middle of a 5-speed swam right now (see my thread) and in my investigation you should be looking at a T56 6 speed. I know Keisler http://www.keislerauto.com/ and Hurst Drive line converstions http://www.hurst-drivelines.com/ will have what you need. Good luck

I'll give a BIG second on Hurst-Drielines. COMPLETE and FAST delivery. Very easy to work with and they have everything you'll need IN STOCK, no waiting.
