Default Another Chevelle guy has passed

Butch Johnson a great friend to all car hobbyist and especially Chevelle guys passed away today after a freak accident at his home. Butch will be missed by all that knew him. He was past president of Mid South Chevelle Club and very active during Chevellabration. If you have ever been to Chevellabration you would know him from driving the mule around picking up trash and delivering people and parts wherever they needed to go. He will be sorely missed by everyone. There couldn't have been a better cruising companion. We enjoyed many trips but far too few. May he rest in peace. We will always miss his mischievous smile. You may have known him on Team Chevelle as bj68 and his wife Sandra as mborohoney.

I met Butch at the 2 CB's I have been too, and he was every bit as nice a gentleman as everyone has said. Its a shame he left the world so early

We attended the service today for Butch ,it was one of the hardest funerals Ive ever attended.I loved Butch with all my heart ,just glad he did not suffer as his death was sudden. His wife ,children, and granchildren as well as his friends will forever have a void in their heart for he was bigger than life. He was a sweet and gentle soal who I and everyone who ever met him will miss terribly. He was one of our traveling buddies and the life of the party ,never met a stranger and had a wonderful smile for everyone. Chevellabration will never be the same without him. Godspeed my friend .
