They wired my mom's house so that if a wall outlet GFI pops in the garage. The heat in the house don't work. Refrigerator and the kitchen same thing off of a wall outlet GFI in a hallway. Not marked on any building wiring diagram. You just have to know about it. It is only on the electricians master drawing.
I may be wrong but isn't the breaker panel where that should be happening?

People go to college get a degree and still are dumber than a stump. Engineers do the dumbest stuff.

I feel your pain. If we pop the breaker for the garage I lose the power to a couple outlets in my kitchen. It has always been that way since we bought the house many years ago. My sister is an electrician and she said if it ain't broke, don't fix it cause it may be opening a big can of worms and out wallet to pay someone to fix it.

Almost have a third room finished on the house. Finally will have a place to sleep, one more coat of mud on the seams and I can do a light sand and primer, and it has heat in it.

Looks good Ray! That and hanging the drywall one of the few things we contracted out when we built our house.

Finally made it back down to the house on Sunday. Spent the day power washing, mowing the grass and finished the drywall taping and got it primered. Spent the night and started puting down the sub floor in the laundary room. My buddy moved right in before I did. lol. Next is gettting gas into the house to get hot water working and gas fireplace installed. Moving to the living room next.
