Default 1971 Blue Chevelle Phoenix, AZ

Hey Guys,
My name is Jarod. I live in the Phoenix Arizona area. I proud to finally say that I am an owner to a 1971 Chevelle. I have had dreams of owning a Chevelle for a very long time. Everyone I knew growing up knew that I have wanted this particular car since I was a little kid. I drool every time I see movies like "Fast and Furious", "Faster", "Jack Reacher", I can go on and on. I have all ways had muscle cars, naming a few would be... 1985 Monte Carlo SS, 1999 Trans am ws6, 2002 Camaro SS, 2009 Challenger RT. I have all ways wanted a Chevelle though. I previously have had the opportunity to work on a 71 Chevelle that they were putting an ls1 engine in it and it really got me interested in looking for a project. I am a newbie to these older cars and I will probably be asking a lot of questions on this forum!

Attached are couple not so great pics.

Yeah, it also has some broken pieces on the bottom of it. I plan on replacing it eventually.

Welcome to the forum! That's a nice solid looking car you've got there! There are a bunch of knowledgeable people on this site so if you've got questions about your chevelle you can probably find an answer.

Welcome Jarod. So what else can you tell us about your car ? Looks like some beefy tires on the back end. Are you looking for something to cruise around town in cause you certainly live in a great climate.

I'm not sure yet, I have all these ideas in my head. I am no a fan of the rims and tires that are on there now, I would like to put at least 18's on her with id say 275's in the rear, I like to cruise so nothing too crazy. Right now it has a rebuilt 350 in it but eventually I do want to put an ls engine in there. Owning so many in the past I love the Ls engines.
