Been miserable here. 90+, high humidity, no rain. Lawns look like toast. We did get some rain last night but not enough.

Not us it filled the wheelbarrow in a half hour. It is a mud pit out there right now. I was a couple hours clearing branches up. It was tearing trees out all over town. I had a 8 inch branch come out. Missed everything outside I care about. My exotic plants and the truck.

I had a 10 foot sapling. Oddest thing I ever saw. I am out there cleaning and I notice something is different. Oh the tree is gone. And I mean gone. Not in the ground, not in the yard. My best guess is the big branch fell snapped it off at the ground. And the wind took it. One of those mini tornado deals.

LOL somebody down the street is thinking where did this come from.

But it went from 80 something and humid to a real nice 72. I started the grill and picked it all up. Threw it in the bushes. Cooked some burgers. Then the sun came out and temp went up to 95 and humid.

So all in all it was a enjoyable nice day. I am country weather don't bug me much. Kinda just something to watch. And it was quite a show.

Then drive along and be careful in case there are trees down in the road. And there were. You could see the road crews chopped up 5 good ones to get the ends out of the road.

I got home a little before 4 PM yesterday, it was 100* in the shade on my thermometer. Today, started off at 76* around 6 AM. Got well into the 90s - and the sky just opened up. I doubt it will cool down much, more than likely will just add to the humidity.

Summer had decide to pass us by in our part of the state. We are barely making 75 and in the 50's at night. The garden is not liking it very well.

It rained so hard yesterday it broke over the tied tomatoes. We needed it though. We got thunder but no rain yet earlier. It is supposed to rain tonight into morning again. Garden and the new exotic plants are doing well this year. But I water everyday to.
