Default 1788 miles

So we left Thursday night at 9pm to head to South Carolina for grumpy to go to an airgun shoot with friends. After lots of construction and low speed limits (I like the 70mph here) we finally got to our hotel at 11am. Then went and unloaded all of the airgun crap from the Astro Van, and set it up. By then it was 3pm and grumpy and our son Jacob got to shoot for a couple hours, then back to the hotel for dinner. I hadn't really slept, I got up at 7am on Thursday morning and here it was Friday night at 8pm.

Then Saturday morning came. The boys were all set up so all I had to do was drop them off and get on the road. I was headed to Georgia to the ACES SE regional Chevelle show held in Oakwood GA held by the Peachstate club. It took about 1hr 45min each way.

When I got there I just started snapping pictures. I walked up and down each aisle taking pictures of some beautiful cars. I finally met up with flash and Ms flash. I wish that I had more time with them, but unfortunately I needed to get back. Heck I had just found out about the car show the night before we left and I was fortunate enough to go. I was really bummed that I didn't get to see Chuck Hanson, he was probably in the seminar with many of the attendees. I will see many of them at the NOCC show in August.

John and Joan. I loved seeing you guys and I wish we could have spent a lot more time together.

Another 14 hours today and a total of 1788 miles since Thursday night...we are home...yeah ! And the kicker is, grumpy drove 100 miles of that 1788.

Bill, I must have just missed you. Maybe you were pulling out when I got there. I was so tired last night when I posted and I just hope it made some sense. lol

I do have pics, from the car show and from David's shoot. I had 2 8mg cards and I filled both of them. I am hoping to get to do them today and I will build an album from the show. Hopefully later today I will get that done.
