Default 70-72 factory screw-up

Anyone ever notice that the headlights & tail lights don't match right? I've always thought Chevrolet screwed up. I think the dual headlights of the 70 should of had the matching dual round tail lights that the 71-72 had. And the 71-72 should of came with the single rectangle tail light that the 70 sports,to match the single headlights.

I'm glad they didn't. I like the SS bumper pad on the 70, where the 71&72 only got an SS emblem. Plus I like the square tail lights so much better on the 70. I think it would have made the front and back look to much alike. Of course I'm a 70 fan. I do like the 71turn signals better then the 72 but have to agree the 72 has a cleaner look up front. I would take either one if I could.

I don't think they screwed up but I also think it looks very good with the 71-72 rearend and the 70 front. I don't think the 71-72 front end with the 70 rear end would look very good though. Well either way, can't really see both sides at one time.

X2 I think it looks stupid with the 4 headlights and 4 taillights, it just doesn't look right on a 70.
