Default Fair price for a carb?

I'm starting from the top. Need a qudrajet for my 70,how much am I gonna have to pay? Anybody got one? It's an automatic built in April.

"built in April" ... dang if you are stuck on matching numbers build dates finding the right one is going to be a expensive and timely proposition .... otherwise a decent used quadrajet shouldnt cost more than $100 bucks. Probably a bit less. People usually replace them with "better" carbs so they are available and cheap. Personally I wouldnt run anything else .

The ID numbers and year of manufacture are stamped on the air horn so tracking down what your looking at is pretty simple ... you'll need these numbers in case you need a rebuild kit.

Around here for a rebuilt 70 quadrajet goes for about $650, one needing rebuilt runs about $250.

Do you still have the correct intake manifold?
