All of my cars roll on the same size all 4 corners except my 68 Malibu. It has very wide rears and skinny fronts but I will change them to same someday. I like to rotate them.

I might be the only guy running on staggered 16X8 225's and 17X9.5 295's she used to squat a bit in the back and now she has a nice rake to her stance.

245/60-14 on SS rims all the way around, I also have a set of F70's redlines bias belted on 6" steel rims with poverty caps when I feel I need a change and a scary ride.

245/60x14 on SS wheels. Also have 2 275/60x15 on SS after market rims, 15x8, for the rear. Like Ric, I throw those on some times for a change. Need 2 15x7 for the front but I have too many wheels and tires already. I have another set of 14x7 SS wheels and tires with trim rings, no center caps, so that's 6 wheels and tires I have to store.

I actually want skinnier tires than the ones I'm running out back. I wonder what my car would look like with the same sized tire all the way around, like maybe a 235/60. That is a bunch wider in the front, and just a little narrower in the back. I think the back will sit a bit lower than it is right now, and the front may stay real close to where it is.

Now the question is going to be white letters showing or not. I'd like a set of BFG T/A tires, if I had those, they'd go on with the letters out for sure.

Still trying to figure that one out. Grumpy and I don't agree on alot of things, so I told him that he could pick out the tires and rims, I just have to OK them. Not sure he is liking that one. lol

Very good question and glad to hear you are "light in the rear" ... you should consider yourself lucky! LOL

I think an additional question would be "what do you think looks good and handles best" ... and personally I would go with the big and littles on rallys. As far as rotating, I do not think that should enter into the equation but, assuming the tires (or rims) are not directional I would think flipping from side-to-side would solve any wear problems .... and, of course, the rear set should ALWAYS wear faster than the front. <wink>

Hello everyone,

I bought an 1970 SS454 Chevelle 3 months ago and I have some doubts about some things.
One doubt its about the tires. When I went to states to take a look to the car it has a F70-14 non radial tires. So the seller said me he's gonna change the tires for me but when the car arrives to Spain last month I realized he put "BF goodrich radial T/A 225/60R15" on the 4 wheels, so put a smaller size. All the people is saying me to put again a 70 size cause the car will run better and I'll save some gas too. What do you think about it?

I have a 295/65/15 drag radial rear and 26 x 6 front. looks awesome in my eyes.
