Default Flint Back to the Bricks 2010 8/17 > 8/21

For you MI guys this was a great show last year. Whole week before is a rolling cruise from Grand Blanc to Flint. 36 stops on the route this year. If you don't like the smell of burning rubber don't go to the rolling cruise.

I worked on one of the Grand Blanc City cops HD yesterday. He has been to a couple of meetings with the BTTB big shots. They are clamping down on the burn-outs this year. They have asked the State Police to come in and help. There were too many idiots last year. From what I understand, they are OK with tire chirping, but not the long burn-outs.

It did get crazy down in Burton. I was amazed they let it go on like they did.

Me and a couple of my friends with their cars are planning to make the trip out this year.....weather permitting of course. I just have to get my butt in gear and put my car back together.

Tony, I'm hearing the same thing from the Website about that they are requesting cars to be towed and impounded for burnouts, I guess we will all have to be cool this year. Now if I can get my car back together in time as I keep taking things off and its not gonig to good with the transmission so far. How is everything with you?

Hey Ric....I am doing alright. What problems are you having with the trans swap? Do you need some help? If so, give me a call. I can come out this weekend and give you a hand.

Brian..If you come over for the BTTBs, give me a call.

Tony and Hank, thanks guys I was hoping I did not have to cut the tunnel but I did, it only took 10 mins (The Sawzall cut through it like it was butter. I still working on grinding the boss on the rear of the trans as it is hitting the crossmember. I'm going to pull the trans again tomorrow so I can do my measurments on the runout of the bellhousing. I've been told the tremac is not as forgiving as the muncie is and can not handle anymore that 0.005" of runout.
