You guys are not making this easy for me. I really like the idea of black, but now knowing it was associated with the eighties and nineties cars. oh man....

My Edelbrock ZZ crate engine block is black with everything else either being aluminum or having the endurashine finish since I paid extra for that. The pan is a mildon pan with the gold finished. I still need to finish the engine with braided lines, and some other things I want to add like the MSD box but otherwise I think black looks cool.

Sorry for all the dust in the photo; it most likely looks worse now since the car has been in the body shop for four months.

Now tell me Black is better than Orange....It screams, Baseball, Apple pie and Chevrolet.

The orange paint on the engine block really makes the black on the engine stand plate really pop!! Very nice motor Ric.

I wonder since chevy zz4 are made and painted by Chevrolet would that be "Chevy Black"?
