Opinions on stripes
Okay everyone, need some good opinions on what kind and color stripes to add to my 70 when the time comes. It's going to be painted Snakeskin Green found on the new Vipers (very close match to the green on the new Camaros also) but I don't want to go with the traditional black SS stripes. I'd like to go with something different, was thinking of carbon fiber or something like that.
Going with the resto-mod look, 20" rear 18" front gunmetal wheels, lowered stance, LS motor swap, etc. Already bought the paint and trying to get everything ready body wise for painting. Looking for some other ideas, it doesn't even have to be SS style stripes. Thanks in advance everyone.

The stripes on MS Grumpys car would look killer with that color.

I considered doing the stripes on mine using the carbon fiber. I also think that doing that with almost a shadowed stripe is cool. I have seen a Chevelle in a dark green (actually thought it was black when I first saw it), and this guy had a small stripe on the side that you didn't really see unless you saw it in the right light.
I think you need to figure out if you want a more traditional stripe, or something that only you have. Find a Chevelle pic on line, print a few copies of it in black and white, then draw away til you have something that you like. Good Luck !
