Default Replacing headliner with the windshiled and windows still in..?

The car needs a new headliner and every write up I see is the same. Use the clips and the glue. Sounds great, except that I cant fit the clips in at the front and rear because I have my windshield and rear window still in.

Is there a simple work around for this? I assume there is.

Car is a '69 A body coupe.

Thanks in advance!

? I replaced mine, 70 Chevelle, with windows in. I used a lot of the small black spring clips. Didn't really have a problem getting the clips on that I recall, it's been a few years. Maybe the clips you have are just too big.

Small clips should work and your tack strip should also help hold it.

Ok, I guess I will try to find some smaller clips. I will see how it goes. Thanks!
