Why are all the good ones so far away I think you're on the money with your price plus the extras

Thank you, just wanted to make sure the price was fair, Do you know many Chevelles had the factory A/C?

If you dont have to sell now you would be better to wait out the economy ,I just sold my 55 Chevy for pennys on the dollar .I didnt have to sell mine but I just didnt drive it enough to keep me interested in it .As far as price I would guess around $13,000 tops .

Set a price and let it ride, not much else to say. I am biased since that is my favorite year. From where I live, the market is soft. My ex's aunt has a 1971 Chevelle, true SS 454 with docs. It is a super nice car, has a very well-built big block that doesn't sound much more than stock - but runs 11.50's on drag radials. A/C blows cold, car is spotless and rust free, been in her family since 1978. They set a reserve of $18K at the Mecham auction - car did not even come close to selling. Was on eBay before that for $20K, no sale. To me, that car is a killer deal - but has not sold.

So what is it worth? Whatever someone is willing to pay. Good luck with the sale.

I know my bro-in-law sold his '69 Malibu last year for much less...and it had lots more in it.
I'd say 15K would be a fair price. At $23K you're in SS396 territory...

I think 15k is very generous for that car considering what Bill said. Good luck with the sale
