Default Gauge size on the SS dash?

Thinking of putting an SS style dash in but wanted to use Autometer gauges, or something of that sort, but would they fit and what size? Where the factory oil gauges and what not would go, could a small gauge go in those spots also? I would like to stay away from cutting out the factory holes to "make" something fit. Any ideas?

I did this to my 69, I bought another gage pod from ebay and then bought a tach and Speedo (5") from ebay then had to by a 2 1/8 gas gage from summit and put it in. I have under 200 into the whole thing and still have my stock gage. I will post better pics from my other computer tomorrow.

I had to do some very minor detail work to make it look good.

Here is what I did, not sure what the 70 set up is like, but I did not have to modify my outer dash. This is before I got the gas gage that fit in the middle where the clock was.

70 set up is a little different but the gauges look about the same size, thanks a lot.
