Talking Dropped the front end yesterday, Much Better !!!

I never liked the way the front end sat higher than the rear, so yesterday we tackled the dreaded job of spring cutting. We removed 1 full coil & 3/4 (1.75 total) of another.........after measuring the fender, this gave me about a 3.5" drop. The ride is better too, not as "bouncy" as it used to be......also alot firmer with less body roll. I'm very satisfied, since this did not cost me anything $$ wise. Also....the springs in the front, are not the originals and I really think they were the wrong size also. Now some pics....

Before....notice the body line going "up" towards the front

Before

After....front angled down now & just above the tire

After

Thanks guys! She's really starting to come along now. Next step will be replacing the missing chrome trim pieces, some window tint to hide the horrible interior that I'm saving for last and some Crager SS wheels. This thing is starting to get more expensive than the Jeep project.

I didn't think I could ever like a 4 door this much. Your car is the goods, man.

All new chrome trim pieces from the front to back, window tint, 2" cowl induction, Crager SS wheels & a 3.73 rear ratio with locker. Then next year I will dedicate extra funds towards the interior. The main problem is lack of $$. Having 4 children & a wife in college, really puts a hurt on the wallet.
