Default 71 turning into 70

I bought a 71 Chevelle to basically take care of some yearnings I've had since I was little. I want to figure out how to restore it, kind of like a puzzle. I'm sure I'll make tons of mistakes and will be left with a pile of scrap when I'm done. Don't care. It's the best stress reliever in the world. I could pay for therapy or pay for this. And for those cringing that I'm going to tear up something halfway valuable, it was a 71 6 cylinder Kansas City car with no front end and two smashed up quarters. No trim tag or title. I hope to learn much from this site. Take care

That is one of my pet peeves. Worrying what other people think. Do what you want it is your car. Enjoy it.

I say this all the time. If your in the hobby as a investment your here for the wrong reason. You don't work for someone else. Don't worry about how much they will make off of your project. And that is the only reason they care what your doing.

Anyway welcome and we like pics.

He pretty much said it all. To me it's like entertainment money. You can gamble, go to the bar, etc. You never get any of that back. We work on these cars because we enjoy it, not to make a profit or make somebody else happy. Oh, and it is good therapy.

Yes, do what you want with it. It’s yours.
I’m running a 4 cam V6 in my 66 Chevelle. My car, my choice.

Really I almost put my vans 4.3 into my chevelle 20 years ago so I could just use it as a everyday driver.

I put this car together to be my daily driver. My goal was 35 mpg. I’m getting a pretty consistent 32 mpg if I drive normal.
I’ll do a post on the build...
