Voltage regulator
Hello all, I bought a new wiring harness from American Autowire but have run into a problem and before I call them tomorrow i though someone on the forums here has had a similar problem. The harness has been GREAT so far, but i finished up the engine bay today and notice that I previously had a voltage regulator mounted on the firewall, but in the harness paperwork and wiring, no where does it have any wires and or notes about wiring it. I'm really confused about this now and was wondering like I said, Has anyone else noticed and or have a solution for this?

Under wiring harness post I put a 66 wiring diagram in there. I know on my 70 the engine bay has 2 wiring harnesses that are under the hood. One runs along the fire wall and the other down the driver side fender well to the voltage regulator and then over to the battery. Not sure how a 66 is wired.

There are two seperate wiring harnesses exiting the backside of the Fuse panel under the hood of a Chevelle...
One is an Engine harness and the other is a Light harness. You may have purchased a Light harness for an INTERNAL regulated Alternator...no wiring would have been provided for a regulator. What does the alternator plug look like?? Horiz or Vert spade connections? EXTERNAL... INTERNAL...
