High Beams
Everytime I hit the dimmer switch to turn on the brights in my 70, the drivers side hi-beam burns out. Any idea why this happens? I've checked all the wiring and all looks good.

That's a good one. I guess I would look at the ground wires. If one of the grounds is not making a good connection the current for both lamps may be flowing through the one lamp. I'd have to look at the wiring to be sure if that can happen but current will try to find a path to ground and it may not be where you want it to go.

Put a volt meter on the connection and see what it reads. Sounds like it may higher then 12 volts.

Well I guess by changing the dimmer switch that solved the problem. Put a new light in and crossed my fingers and hit the dimmer switch..........WALLA, I got all 4 high beams.
