Water pump ????
Putting together a Small Block for a 65 Chevelle, and I plan on installing a serpentine belt setup from a late 80's to a mid 90 small block or v6. I am installing a electric fan for the radiator. What my question is should I go with a long are short water pump? I know that I have to get a reverse flow one. I just need to know the size.

IIRC - all serpentine set ups were long pump, save for the Corvettes. Buy a WP for whatever you removed the serpentine set up from, can't go wrong that way.

88'-91' Corvettes had a serpentine system with a short pump. (TPI cars)

Is it better to go with the Standard flow WP are the Reverse flow WP?

Doesn't matter, they both work well. The Vette parts are more expensive and harder to come by.
