Took a cruise today, 40 miles, and new/old power steering pump worked great. My car is not factory original/correct, it's more period correct. It has headers which are not original along with an aluminum intake and Holley carb. The rest I'm trying to make look original or close to original.

So Far this is it.
As you can see front end is almost done. I painted the calipers red to resemble the high end stuff with High Temp Ceramic Engine paint and Urethane Activator. Gas shocks by KYB Gas-A-Just, 2" lower spindle and 1" lower front springs. 1" and 1/8th sway bar and 700 P/S Box Variable Ratio, new center link and all tie rods.
If you go to Albums you can see the update. Last edited by Granddad Coker; 09-22-2012 at 05:36 PM. |

Here is how you post big pics here. At least this is how I do it.
1.) Go to your profile page (just click on your name) 2.) Start an album 3.) Put all the pics you want into your album/albums 4.) Once you have saved your album, open it up and click on the pic you want to add to a post as a large pic. 5.) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see 2 sets of codes, one says "Picture URL" and the other one says "BB Code". You want the BB Code. Copy the BB Code and just add it into the box where you are writing your message. 6.) I would suggest that you "Preview" your post before you actually post it, just to make sure that it is the pic you want. It is that easy. If you want to post more than one pic in a post, I suggest that you open 2 windows so that you can move back and forth easily between your post and your albums. 7.) If you have any questions please PM me and I will help.

Put mine on the dyno today and picked up 5 ft/lbs even after swapping to one of the heaviest and most power hungry autos along with a locked up flex fan. Wish I could have done a direct a-b test to see how much the car picked up but I'll take these results!

Coil springs are in, and it is back on all four wheels. Hung the rest loosely together so I can move it out of the bay. I'll be thrashing on the Monte Carlo all week. Hoping to get it sold before the election.
