Turned out to be a very good weekend for me.

Saturday at a local car cruise I won $100.00 on the 50/50 drawing.

Sunday at the Milford Car Show I won 1st place in my class. When they called the runner-up which was a 1971 Chevelle Conv that was awesome, I turned to Judy and said "lets go to Bakers for dinner cuz I haven't got a chance of winning here........too many great cars". They called my name the winner of the class and I almost shit my pants.

Went to Bakers for dinner and ended up getting a plaque there also.

Today I'm buying a couple of lottery tickets !!!

Well. didn't win the lottery yet.

Went to Milan Dragway Nostalgia Days on Sat and Sun. Lots of Gassers and front engine Dragsters along with old school Funny Cars. They also had a Classic Car Show both days.

They let some of the cars in the show do a fun-run so I jumped at the chance. I haven't been on the track in 33 years but man did it feel good. I got paired up with a 396 Caprice so I figured my 350 was gonna get spanked. I got him off the line (don't know how cuz I only have a 273 gear), he caught me but I just kept it in low till about 5000 and then shifted. When we went through the traps he was about 1 1/2 cars behind me.

Turn up your sound.........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFELPbS6XhY

My sled ran a 89.98 @ 15.419 and he ran 80.01 @ 15.987. Wasn't fast, but still had a blast until I saw how much rubber was on the 1/4 panel.........gotta get cleanin.

Didn't take one. But if you could imagine the bottom 5" on the right quarter panel from the wheel opening molding to the bumper being solid black on a yellow car......that's what it looked like. Cleaned off pretty easily.
