I've seen John's '55 in person if anyone is interested and needs further first hand info...

I just had another '55 210 (Red) leave my shop two weeks ago. Transmission replacement, brakes rebuilt, front seat recovered, new brake lines, radiator repaired, and a tune up.
Cool car too.

Well, I don't want to be hit with a law-suit over the clock not working, so I will give Ric a wind-up pocket watch that I have here in the shop. The watch will look nice hanging from the mirror. He can put some black tape over the original non working clock and tell everyone that the car is a "special order, one off , custom time feature" car.

Nice 55 Flash. Good luck with the sale.

Its getting some interest now that I have dropped the price but the price now is rock bottom .I stopped today to look at a truck for one of our foster boys and the guy asked me if I still had the 55 for sale and he wants to come see it. Someone had told him about it a while back but he didnt know where I lived or how to find me as he didnt know my name.We will see what happens but its just a matter of the right person seeing it.

Too late Tony, I have talked to 1800-CALL-SAM, 1800-CALL-LEE-FREE and the famous Jeffery Feiger law firm. They are all very intersted in the case and all said should get somewhere in the $800,000 to 1.5 Million for all of Emotional duress that I have been through with the clock not working. But the wind-up watch is very temping offer, maybe if you throw in a piece of velcro in so it will cover the OEM clock I will call of the lawyers.

I took the Camaro out yesterday and put about 50 miles on it with a full tank and some sea-foam in the gas tank and it is running better....

Flash, the 55 would make a cool gasser.

Just think Ric, after all is said and done, and the attorney's take their fees. You might have enough left over to buy your own velcro.

The truck is still sitting in its corner of the bodyshop awaiting its turn. Hopefully they will get started on it again real soon. They are doing as much insurance work as they can get as that is wtat they make their money on.
