Moved it so I can clean under it and mop the floor. Filled the tires. Cleaned it. It is a nice day so the van is out side and I am getting the winter funk off of the floor.

Dust on the floor is quickly dust on the car LOL.

Never left the shop...looked like rain and now beginning to sprinkle.
Drove the pickup to the meeting.

Pulled the rear window trim, stripped more paint. This is going to be a long process.

Wiring! Realized none of my crimpers will work for the dual connectors so I ordered one yesterday. I've been pulling and routing wires and doing all the single connections in the meantime. Trunk, engine and front lights are done as far as I can. Think I'm going to replace the oil pan gasket and maybe the valve covers on the engine tomorrow. I'd like to complete what I have started before I tackle the dash.

Nothing exciting, stripped more paint. Hoping to be painting it by April.

Took the car out to a Grand Opening Ceremony of a bridge and gave some VIP's a ride across in a parade. I got ask to represent the 70 decade with my car. Got to be one of the first cars to drive on the bridge.

That is outstanding. Got to be a good time.

If I ever get mine done. College is killing us right now. I know someone that ask me to do the parade thing like that here. It is a memorial day parade here.

Well, last year I was gonna make some custom panels to go into the trunk but saw that I would lose a lot of space that way............shitcan the idea.

So this year I'm gonna make a custom console that goes from under the dash and extends to the rear seat. Will house some gauges, cup holders and a storage compartment with a arm rest top.

Making it out of 1/2" MDF covered with foam and black naugahyde. Kinda cold in the garage right now to do the work but I'll keep ya's posted.

That looks cool Ken. I pulled the dash out of mine so I could plug in the dash harness and then drop the motor in, which I also got done. Then the flu/pneumonia invaded our house and put an end to all work. Hope to get back at it next weekend. Nice to see things going back in though!
