Default Have you ever had a Sponsor ?

So I am looking to have Chevelleforums.org sponsor a car. Nothing big bucks, but just something to get our name out there.

Have you ever had a car that was sponsored or know of someone who has ? This is still in the works, so I could use any info or ideas that you have.

Yup... Visa and MasterCard.

Have you thought of just giving a local racer a set dollar amount, one time per year to display the logo and web address on their car?

That is more of what I was thinking about, a set dollar amount once a year to display the logo. I was wondering what would be a reasonable amount to offer. I know that racing isn't cheap and the car that I am looking at is running 9's.

I had a local tire shop as a sponsor on my '70 for a couple years. No lettering on the car...just personal recommendations and discount business cards handed out at local shows and the track.
Kept me in fresh street tires and slicks which was especially nice running an 800+ HP 540.

I want the name on the car. But I have gotten all sorts of dollar amounts for getting the name on the car. I have to really investigate this.
