Default Newbie to the Chevelle World

Hi Everyone,

I have built one car over the last 8 years and that's a Factory Five Roadster (please don't hold that against me ). I have two kids, one car for each, and another dream is to build a 70 Chevelle. I haven't got the car yet but I am close. This will be a 5-7 year build. I'm not trying to be a traditionalist (hope that doesn't offend anyone) but I do want old school look with new school underneath. Plan is to separate body from frame and make a visit to Schwartzperformance and upgrade frame/suspension. Power wise will be a stroked out big block and completely upgrade the interior.

When the time comes I would like to lean on some of your experience and expertise. Hell, someone may just talk me out of my ideas. Never know. Looking forward to learning lots from y'all

Perry

Welcome. Build the car how you want it. Pretty sure you won't hurt any feelings here.

Yep this is the it is your car. Have a blast and do what you want site. Welcome.

Traditionalist LOL, when these things were new. It was the thing to cut the fenderwells out and put slicks. People that care about keeping them factory stock were not even thought about being born yet.

To me the tradition is to hot rod it.
