Exhaust recommendation
I may have posted this question before or someone may have asked similar but here it goes. I have a 70 SS with a 396 and I believe Headman headers. I currently have a gentleman or sleeper exhaust and am looking to go a bit more aggressive while still being able to talk to the misses. My current exhaust is standard steel with some off brand mufflers that is actually in good shape. If I am going to do the swap and spend the $ I want the best bang for the buck. Am I better just having an exhaust shop make me something custom or should I get a SS system like Magnaflow?

Pypes, with their Race Pro series mufflers are great. Fitment is good, available in stainless. The mufflers are mellow at idle and cruise, but really "open up" when you get agressive with the skinny pedal.
