Default A cool trick my father in law used to sell cars

I don't know what made me think of this.Maureens dad owned a Pontiac dealer back in the 60s and one story always sticks in my mind.Anyone that was interested in a tripower was taken on a test ride with Bob driving first. He would stop on a straight stretch on US 30 and place a $100 dollar bill on the dash.He would tell the customer if they could reach the money sitting in their seat upon acceleration they could keep the money. He never lost a dime lol.

Ive heard of that trick many times but not from a car sales point of view but from someone proving how fast their car was.

I like it, sounds like his 100 dollar bill lasted a long time. Bet he had the windows rolled up when he did that. lol
