Default What do you think of these bumpers ?

I had purchased bumpers and have never really been happy. What do you guys think of the ones from Ground up ? Has anyone ever purchased one from them ?

Link would not work for me but if they are stock repops I think you would be pleased. My El Camino has a repop rear bumper and fit and chrome are nice .On our vert I sent our original bumpers out and had them rechromed ,could have bought several repops for what that cost .

Link won't load for me but I bet they would be nice. Ground Up sells some nice repop products and I'm thinking about getting a repop rear bumper from them instead of re-chroming them. It will be 179 vs 400 rechromed.

I am just bummed that I was not able to use the originals, they were just not salvageable. Hind sight is 20/20, I probably would have tried harder to find an original pair in decent shape.

Nancy, the free bumpers in the classifieds could be shipped GreyHound faily cheaply to you. I bet for maybe $50. Then you could send them to Tri City Plating in TN. Nothing fits like original. I found this on another site
"I have a set of 70 bumpers on order now for my convertible from Tri City, $325 with core exchange" Might at least give you a cost to get a chromed new set from them.

Try Good Mark they offer USA chrome, not overseas dull. They might have a long lead time. They look like chrome. Or have yours re-chromed.

I decided to spend the money and just have mine re chromed. I try not to cheap out, especially on my cars.
