Replacing heater blower motor in 69 Chevelle w/SBC
Hey folks,
I am new here. I am working on a fella's 1969 Chevelle (SS Clone) and need some help. I will be replacing the blower motor for the heater. I know its under the passenger front fender area, but the only examples on You Tube show cars with a plastic fender liner in the wheel well. This one has a metal one. So, I suppose I must remove it completely to get to the fan. Can that be done while leaving the outer fender in place? Thanks for any assistance, advice or tips. J. Jackson Hereford AZ. |

I did it. Unbolt the rear of the fenderwell and bend it forward to reach in there. Once it is loose it will wiggle out.
I say rear but most of it was loose. |

ChevyMaher,
Thanks much brother. I just got finished with it. I was able to remove all the bolts and everything from the fender, then bend the metal liner back enough, bungee cord it in place, and get to the motor. Thanks again and have a good day. |
