SS gauge connections to LS2
Hi all, I am in the final stages of swapping an LS2 into my 1969 Chevelle SS. My current problem is connecting the SS instrument gauges (battery, temp, oil press) to the LS2 so I have some idea what is going on inside the engine. Can anyone out there give me some advice on how to do this? I suspect that I'll need new sensors for the LS2 that are appropriate (electrical resistance?) for the original SS gauges.

Should have some ports in the heads to screw a temp sensor into. I would use original sensors, if they fit the threaded port. Battery, on a 70 that's at the horn relay. Which is the main connection point between the alt, battery and fuse block. Really just about any 12v connect will work, maybe the fuse block.

They sell threaded adapters for installing older style sending units or oil press lines into LS engines.
