i got really lucky i meet him at a swap meet and sure enough he had them. He said it was sitting in the garage storage for over 20 years! all we did was put some VLR cleaner on it and boom they came out like that! getting so ready to drive it again!

Got my wife to have a garage sale today and she got rid of all the furniture that we have been storing for here mother. I finally will be able to walk around the garage again when I get home. Will be nice to have my space back. Might even to be able to see the Chevelle again.

I dreamed of my car today. I have been doing an Arts and Craft Show with my daughter Lauren since Friday and my car is sitting in my brothers garage. Every night when I get out of the show at 9pm it is raining so I have not been able to pick up my car. Keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday after 6pm when I get out of there.

Pulled the tank that was 3/4 full and took a gas bath getting it down. This is where not having it on the lift would have been better as I could have used the floor jack to move it around. This is what I get for doing this stuff by myself and not waiting for help.

Ric, why did you have to pull the tank?

Leaking at the seam when I started it this spring. I got a new tank, sending unit, straps and rubber fuel lines that I'm replacing. The tank was pretty beat up as well and it looks like it has not been touched since 1969.
