Default Chevelles at Barretts

Seems like its Vette day today. Got a pro street 70 chevelle rolling across the stage now. Lets see what it brings.

That pro street 70 seemed a bit dated. I bet it was built very early 90's.

I would have to put new wheels on it and replace the valve covers and a few other things to get rid of some of that 90's look it had going. I bet it would have brought more with some more modern looking wheels on it

One 70 went for $46,000 yesterday, it was not a number matching car, just a date correct car.

I sort of of thought the same thing. It seemed like a super clean car but for 57G I would build my own.

Is it or are the prices dropping on these cars! Looks like some of the investor types are losing money on resale!

In many ways I hope so. When collectors care more about value then the cars, I think something is wrong.

To answer your question I am sure there are many out there losing their butts on everything from cars to coins.

Several of those big block Corvettes would have easily went over 100K last year. This year some were lucky to get withing 20 grand of that.
