Default 69 shoulder belts info?

First off I am new to old school muscle so I'm fumbling my way through that a bit... My Wife loves Chevelles so I'm redoing a 69 A body for her.

The car came with the shoulder belt retainers, but no actual shoulder belt. I cant find ANY info on where to get a replacement, how they actually work, etc. I obviously understand the lap portion of it but how does the shoulder portion connect?

I'd like to avoid getting the retractable 3 points as they don't look great, but I want the safety of having that shoulder belt.

Any info would really be appreciated!

chris. I have a 69 chevelle which has the shoulder belts, but someone had cut the belts near the console. I, like you, didn't want the 3 points either, the originals.
you can check in your local area, call upholstery shops , and you can get some shoulder belts made for you. I know there are some companies in Arizona and California that will also make some for you too. good luck
