I know TT2's can get pricey especially when you order custom offsets.
Heres what I would think is a cheaper alternative.

You know sometimes it is hard to tell someone that you did not like what they have chosen. We all have spent countless hours researching something, and then asked another persons opinion, only to get shot down because they don't like it.

I got that repetitively with some of the things I chose. I, ultimately went with what I liked, and guess what, it looks good.

So my advice is to go with your gut, just cause we don't like it, doesn't mean it doesn't look good.

I Think I agree, torq thrusts is the way to go,

Your absultley right! I have a friend that would give me a hard time about my wheels. He would say your car would look really good with a set of TT2's. I just laughed, because like you, I think they looked good. I liked them because not everybody and their brother have them, so my car stands out..........alittle bit.

I don't really like those, but also I prefer pretty much anything that's NOT a TTII... they're just way too common.

Guess I'm to "old school" but I dont care for them, there is to much wheel and not enough tire. Seems like the older I get the wheels get bigger...or is it just me?

I am not a fan of the really big tires and rims either. I know we went a little larger than stock on the back of my car. But some people are putting huge tires and rims on their older cars.
