Default what do you think of these?

I ahve been offered these rims for the Chevelle, they are 18" x 8" with 4.5" back spacing, 235 /40 and 245/40 tires.
I would like to go to 275/40 on the rear, will I get them on these rims?
what do you all think or do I just go down the 15" torq thrust II option with 235's front and 295's rear?
please help I can't decide!!!!!!

Think I prefer the Torq II's to those.

I was trying to figure out what I didn't like about those. I think they remind me of the late 80's camaro rims. Not that I don't like em but to me they just look out of place.

It doesn't happen often but I agree with Grumpy, just don't look right.

I agree as I'm for the old school look.

Thank goodness I didn't post that I liked the wheels. I really would have felt stoopid.

I think with a different tire they wouldn't look as bad. Those tires have no sidewall. But I like TT II option better, heck I still have stock SS wheels on mine.

I think I'd have to agree with the the others. It would look much better with the torque thrusts. Heres a pic. of my car with the same wheels. They have 245-40-18's on them. I originally bought them for an 87 Iroc I had. When I sold the Iroc, I kept the wheels and put them on the Chevelle. I did it because it seemed like everyone else had TT. I wanted to do something different.
