Default 454 Big Block for sale

Hi guys, new to this forum and have taken this engine out of my 67 corvette. Guy that sold me the car said it is a 1971 LS6. This engine is bored 30 over. Edlebrock Aluminum High raise, Carillo rods, 850 holley Double pumper, MSD Ignition, Distributor, Air condition unit,Power Steering pump, headers, Heavy duty view bell housing, etc.... Everything you see on the engine, goes with the engine.

good luck man i had my 454 refreshed with a super t-10 trans for 3500 for sale got one bite then he backed out!

I don't think that it is that no one is interested. I think a lot of people are just being really cautious with their money right now.

Great looking engine. I just rebuilt a motor. Just the cost to have one shipped would add another 1000 to the price.

I remember having a 454 in my 1972 Suburban, that was in 1982. I think I got 5 miles to the gallon. If I was lucky. But it was a great cruising vehicle, all my girlfriends would load into it and we would go "Cruising" the local strip. Lots of fun were had in that truck.

I would think gas prices, shipping costs and overall economy are keeping sales of iron big blocks down. Consider now you can get a junyard aluminum small block makeing more horsepower and using less gas for less than half the asking price of the vintage iron.
It is a nice piece.
