Default CF-NW - How 'bout a Club mobile Tool Crib?

Was reading somewhere about the NW floating engine hoist & someone needing to use a blast cab.
What do you guy think about putting a trailer together that would have some big one-use type tools available to the members?
I've got some headers & wheels I want to run thru a blast cab myself.
I could buy one, but they take up alot of room & are seldom used, but when you need one.....
I've got an engine hoist too, BTW as well as a 12T press. 4T Porta Power.
My hobby shop is in Sea-Tac if anyone needs to come over to play.

Dan

Thanks for the info Dan.

I've bought the hoist thats been floating around a couple years ago with the hope that it could be used by anyone that needs it versus sitting in my garage 99% of the time. It's really worked out well I think for a lot of people.
Right now its sporting Erics bridle which is nicer than the one it came with, "Thanks Eric!"

I've also got a harmonic balancer removal and install tool kit thats helped a couple of people.

I'm going to keep you in mind for that press if I have the need to use one.

My Dad has a porta-power too that I can get if anyone needs to borrow it.

I think Ben has adopted my lift and leveler.

But, he did run into unexpected R&R.

I have a lot of stuff at my place too. I'm looking at buying a large Scat blast cabinet probably this time next year, my hand tools are limited but I have most common stuff. I have one center post lift and one two post lift that I need to anchor to the floor still. I also have a commercial trans jack, solvent parts cleaner, engine lift and leveler, floor jacks, and two oil catch cans made for working on the lift. I have an endless supply of good rags/towels, oil and paint can lockers and a fire rated oil rag can to place the used rags in.
I will be looking to buy a nice mig welder, air tools, shop refrigerator, and the blast cabinet after I get the '70 together. I just need to remove everything from the shop this summer and seal the floor and organize evrything as it all goes back inside. I will be looking for used kitchen cabinet on C/L for a while and building some shelving to put stuff away. I want to get this all done this summer, as of now I'm semi retired from boat racing and should have some time now.
With all this being said, anyone here is welcome to use the shop and tools as long as everything stays here. I don't mind if someone wants to do an engine/trans swap and keep the project here a couple weeks or whatever it takes to complete the job as long as it dose not end being here for months. It can stay in the shop as long as it's being worked on, I'm NOT offering free storage
