no headlights
bought a project chevelle for my son and im glad to say we got it started and driving but we can not get the headlights to turn on. We have replaced all bulbs so markers, blinkers, taillights all work but not the headlights. We ran power directly from the battery to the headlights and they turn on but not from the car. All wires from the switch have power. Any help?

start at the headlight and work your way back to the switch(checking for power)

Check the high beam switch located on the floor.

X2, they might come on after you push it once, and when you push it again they probably will turn off. Rust can get to the switch.

I remember having that problem many years ago. Looking back, it makes me laugh, but at the time you are so frustrated.

The dimmer switch might be it because I was looking at wiring schematic and power flows thru dimmer switch first so im checking that out today. I will keep you updated.
