Wiring Harness Suggestion?
I'm getting ready to put the interior back in my '72 convertible and I know I want to replace the rear wiring harness. I see where I can buy it separate or buy a kit that says it has all of the harnesses for the whole car. I was thinking about getting all of them and then as I work on it replacing them as I go. Has anyone had experience with this kits? I was going to order it through Eckler's just because that's where I've been getting parts but I'm open to suggestions.

I bought the American Autowire classic update kit. It was a complete kit. It installed easily and was well marked.

I too used the American Autowire classic update kit. It has a wiring diagram for the whole car, almost every wire is labels the entire length of the wire. Also, you can use it with factory or aftermarkert gauges, and has an updated fuse box the mounts in the factory spot. Only con with the whole kit is the special weather pack crimpers you are supposed to use, but you can rent them from the company if you need to. I would buy and use it again in a heartbeat.
