1970 Chevelle SS stolen from Kalamazoo, MI

Muscle car worth $100K stolen Updated: Sunday, September 15 2013, 07:22 PM EDT KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) Police are looking for a car thief who stole a vehicle worth $100,000. According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, the car was stolen around 6:30 p.m. Saturday from a parking lot at Sprinkle Road and Easy Street. Police say the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Hot Rod was in an enclosed, locked trailer. The owner left it in a parking lot and went across the street for dinner. The owner told police he returned an hour later to find the lock cut and the car stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at (269) 337-8994 or Silent Observer at (616) 343-2100. The Help Eliminate Auto Theft tip line is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect. Well that car will be hard to hide. I'm sure that there has to be some sort of survelliance that should have caught that. Someone knew what was in that trailer I suspect.

I went searching for more info yesterday and the article is the only thing I could find. It is hard to think that this could be any of us. That is why it cuts so deep, and I wish I could do more to find his car.
