I agree that is one pretty car, wish it was sitting in my garage. You do nice work.

I have been so busy with the move and we have had internet problems.
I just have to get back to pimping the site and it will pick up again.

Hope you and Dave are doing well, good to hear from you.

Got a call yesterday that my uncle passed away. So we had to go up to the Masonic home in Alma, Mi. Just went by there a few days when we went up north for the 4th. Had tp go through his personal belongings and bring home some it. Except for the bed all the furniture was his. Some we donated to the home some we hauled home. We did stop and see him Memorial day weekend but not this time. All he wanted to do was sleep and be left alone. Guess he passed peacefully during the night so that was good.

Busy day, busy week, busy month. I'm sure it will slow down eventually, damn well better.

I went through that recently. My brother in law died. He was only a year older than me. I was down and not really online posting. I didn't because my temper was not what it should be.

I am recovering finally.

A drive shaft. Just the shaft would do. I got yokes.

But other than motor and interior from the dash back. Dash as you know is finished. It is basically done. I got the rear seat frame. It has the buckets in it. They are not horrible but I am going to recover them.

Like I said I am in hobbyshop prison since my wife went to college. I got one more semester and after that she be working. It will get done fairly quickly after that.

I do got a almost perfect complete set of 68 chrome left over tho. Heater core and a under the hood air unit to a 69 year I think but it is close. I bought it for mine. But got the el camino parts car and it had one. new 68 antenna but i went with the in windshield 69 type.

She does look sweet to me down there tho. Freshly waxed. I can say it is exactly what I always wanted. Colors stripes stereo all options I always dreamed of. Power everything and air. You know chevelles were always basically optionless if they were performance oriented. Which was why I sold the SS and kept the malibu parts car in the first place.

It was my dream car. I purposely picked options and chrome from any years I pleased. Just tried to make it look like it could have been a factory set up.

I been oggling her. Like a high school date when she says she got to go home while petting. So close yet so far LOL.

I am restoring that boat I got now to. Needed stringers and transom. So I am keeping busy. I am grinding out the hull at the moment. That will keep me busy till school lets out.

Once you get used to doing this stuff it is hard and boring not having some project going on all the time.

Couple pics of her. She she isn't being neglected. Gets cleaned more than any other car that never moves LOL.

that is a great looking 68,

this is a 68 malibu that i saved from sitting outside under a canvas tarp
it sat under the tarp for 7-years before i could purchase it.
it had a 307/2bbl/glide combo that caught fire, i think they just walked away from the car;
after having it for several years and driving it in a damaged condition
this is what i ended up with before it was sold.
ss-hood; m21; 350-crate; 12bolt-3.55; not quite finished when sold, it was fun car and an investment

Love it. My favorites are the 68 and the 66. I had 7 66's as it was my first car. The 68 I grew up in mom and dad had one. Blue with black vinyl top. Wonder where my cars colors came from? LOL. This is my second 68. I have had many chevelles of anything earlier than 69 before the prices went stupid.
