Default Made my van very happy today

I have an all wheel drive Astro Van. We have gone through 2 sets of tires in the past 60,000 miles. And it was time for more tires.

We put a set of Michelin on it today. It was definitely a good choice. The road noise is less and the ride is a lot better.

Michelin makes all ranges of tire as do most manufactuers. Which style/model did you get?

Another thing particular to Michelin, they make one tread pattern especially for sales in Costco. They (Costco) send out a flyer showing the Michelins for dirt cheap but price comparison is usually not an option because of the exclusive marketing.

Another thing you can bet on, if the tire gives you really good mileage and has other qualities then the manufactuer will discontinue it! LOL

This happened to me on Dunlop Range Rovers for light trucks ... got 60k out of those tires and even Consumer Reports listed them as the absoljute best buy for the buck .... and Dunlop discontinued them!

I think that works well when you are younger and can't afford your own place. As we get older, we enjoy the finer things. At least I think we do.
