Used Sikkens 2 stage on the '67...pleased with the results and it's been about 5 years.
The '69...haven't decided yet. Whatever DB likes, I guess.

House of colors if money is no object, but I have to agree PPG makes nice paint too. Then again I'm use to gray or black primer lately. I had an old drag racer tell me once to keep it in primer since making it look nice doesn't make it go faster.

I often wondered if that was true or not and I did read a study once stating that the smoother the finish the less wind resistance resulting in less drag so technically there would be a benefit in having a nice finish on a car but I don’t know if anyone ever did any testing on this subject.

I don't know...they all smell the same out of a paper bag, but gold does the trick for me every time.

What Grumpy neglected to tell ya is that the Vibrance line is like some of the most expensive paints that we looked at. Did I like some of them, heck ya. But it was not within our budget. Also, he did not tell ya that it was my choice on color, and I picked what I liked. So Grumpy will continue to be Grumpy. It it ain't broke don't fix it.......
