There's a lot of good tire brands. BFG radial TAs are pretty popular for cars of that era. They usually only do a run of those in the spring so you need to start looking and order some soon. If that's what you want. Cooper also makes a tire that works well on the Chevelle. You didn't mention wheels so I'll assume you're sticking with the originals. 255x60 is a decent size on the 15" rims. My neighbor has a 70 Chevelle and that's what he has on his, looks good. I have 245x60s on mine but I have the original 70 14" rims.

Thank you the reply. I like the bf goodrich as well. Yes, I am using the original. I have a set of copper cobra tires however i want to be as close to oem as possible - just dont think they are as nice . Heres my “gf”
