Thumbs up hoodhingerepair.com Rocks !

Just wanted to give a shout out to Willie over at http://www.hoodhingerepair.com/ for fixing up my 72's hood hinges like new.

I got them back in a week and for an excellent price. Thanks Willie !

What services does he offer? Complete restoration of hood hinges? The passenger side hinge on my 69 is tweaked and I either have to have it redone or just replaced.

Well after checking out that site, he might get my hinges as well. Everything he listed about bad hinges is what mine do.

Heard nothing but good things about his work. Mine aren't too bad, should last another year or two then he'll probably get mine. The repro ones are chunk. Car had a set when I bought it. I bought another set and they only lasted a few years, then I found a used set of original hinges.

Luckily for me I found a good set of originals at a swap meet last year, I will still have those rebuilt before they go on though

I was in a pretty big hurry and Willie took care of my beat to chit hinges in no time. The price was right for sure.

And the aftermarket hinge prices are nuts; I was looking at some on another site and a supplier was selling some made from different metals and finishes and the base price was $495 up to $595. Talk about being proud of something but that was ridiculous....

I think Willie charged me 120 out the door to rebuild mine. Worked for me
