shadowgray396 (Ray) Positive battery cable routing?
I have been digging around on TC... nothing conclusive. I see at one point you were looking for the same answer. Did you ever figure it out? I have a clip that supposedly goes on the oil pan rail. But, I am unsure of where it should go. I also have a factory bracket with a rubber coating on my passenger side engine mount.
Thanks in advance!

After looking it over good, I see no way that clip can work. It won't seat anywhere along the pan rail. Looks like a part that will get tossed into my tool box.
This is the animal in question:

Ray probably has the answer but I'll tell you what I found in the assembly manual when I put my car together. Positive cable goes down from battery through a clamp bolted to the frame, in the area where the frame curves back in, in front of where the idler arm is bolted. It then curves over towards the engine and through a clamp held on by the front outside engine frame mount bolt. Curves around down below the engine mount and back to the starter. I did not see any clamps on the oil pan in the assembly manual.

No clamp on the oil pan, Hank is correct on the routing.
