Default Ordered the EFI

I ordered the EFI today, should be here by the end of the week. Yeah !

And last night I picked up the Air Conditioning unit, brackets and face plate for my car. I wasn't going to put air into my car, but when grumpy talked me into it, and offered to pay for it...oh what the hell...let's do it. It will make those long drives a lot more comfortable.

Should start on all the fun this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Good luck! A/c will make places like goodlettsville much, MUCH more enjoyable!

What EFI did you decide to go with? Any particular reason or driving force behind your decision?

And just how much does EFI cost ,I would like that someday as well but no more projects for me for the near future until the money pit truck comes home.

Ditto on the EFI set up, what brand/kit did you purchase? I think in the future I may put an MSD atomic EFI set up on my father's Green 72' SS 454 car.

Fast EZ Master kit, went with this one because it came with the fuel pump. We also read a lot of positive feedback on this system. eAnother reason is that the other ones were tuneable with laptops, this one has it's own little box that can be reset. Is this cost effective for us, we hope so, the prices on these can vary a lot depending on what is in the kit. This kit ran around 2 grand.

$2K seems to be about the going rate to get your foot in the door with an EFI system.

If you knew grumpy, he investigates, and researches things A LOT. Last night we opened the box and the "carb" setup looks really sweet. Glenn, one of the guys working with my brother, was drooling over the system. He said that a lot of the guys that he drag races with, use this system.

Well I am glad that I have the previous pic because my camera would not focus tonight when we started my car. Here are a couple of links to video of what it sounds like, the video pic is bad, but I was looking for the sound.

Under the hood...

Had to hear what the exhaust sounded like.
